"Sleep in Your Own Bed Work Mission Week".

During the week of July 20 - July 24, there will be a different mission project scheduled every day.  Every project will be in support of a local organization, and every project is a chance to do something different.

There is no need to take a whole week away from home and you can volunteer for as many or few of the projects as you want, PLUS, you get to sleep in your own bed at night!

The organizations and tentative work to be done at each are listed below.

Monday - The Mission Barn - building ramp sections, UMCOR kit assembly, yard/building maintenance

Tuesday - Greater Pittsburgh Area Food Bank - packing food boxes, sorting food items, processing donations

Wednesday - North Hills Community Outreach - cleaning windows and screens, yard maintenance, washing vehicles

Thursday - The Lighthouse - food pantry clean up

Friday - summer picnic for drive thru dinner friends and church family

The sign up sheets will be available in the narthex.

Some of the sites have limits on how many volunteers they can handle.  If we get a surplus of people wanting to volunteer for any particular day that week, there are other organizations we can reach out to and see if a group could go there also.

Please take a few minutes to pray about it and see if you are being led to get involved in one of these group mission projects.
