Worship with Us
8:30am
Traditional Service
Hymns accompanied by organ or piano with ministry from the Sanctuary Choir and Glory Ringers.
11:00am
Praise & Worship Service
Contemporary worship led by Rhythm of Grace, featuring keyboards, guitars and drums.
Prayer
We begin our services with congregational prayer. During most services we share the needs of the congregation and pray for one another.
Preaching
We center our preaching in the Bible, God’s word to all people. The sermon points are highlighted and emphasized with Power Point. You can watch previous weeks worship services on the video archive page.
Dress
We invite you to worship with us. You are welcome in whatever attire you prefer.
The Sacrament of Coummunion
Everyone of Christian faith is welcome to share in this celebration of God’s love. You do not have to be a member of our church or any church because Christ invites all with Him at the table. Communion is usually served on the first Sunday of the month.
Children & Families
Nursery Care
There is a nursery available during our 11:00 am services. Childcare is provided for children infant to 4 years of age in the upper education wing. A comfort room for infants is located in the back of the sanctuary. There are also changing tables located in the women's and men's rooms in the Narthex.
Junior Church
On Sunday during the 11:00am service. After the children's moment with Pastor Keith, children will be dismissed to the education wing. Preschool age and younger children should report to the nursery. Elementary children will be divided into two class: kingergarten-2nd grade & 3rd-5th grades. Junior Church is lead by our Children's Ministry Director, Ms. Jennie Smith.
Vacation Bible School
An annual highlight is VBS offered for a week each June or July! if you are interested in any of our Children's Ministry Programs, contact Jennie Smith at Jsmith@bakerstownumc.org
Youth Group
Our Youth Group meets weekly through the school year on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30pm. Open to all kids from 6th-12th grade. Meetings include Bible study, worship, games, and fellowship. Youth are given an opportunity to explore their faith while developing lasting friendships. In addition to the regular meetings, other activates are offered such as parties, outdoor activities, mission trips and retreats. Parking & Accessability
Parking
We have plenty of parking in our front lots, side and rear lots. Handicapped parking at the top of the lot near the entrance ramp.
Entrance Ramp
There is a ramp from the front lot that provides entry to the main part of the church.
Accessible Rest Rooms
We have accessible restrooms and an elevator to the lower level classrooms and our Fellowship Hall.
