Bakerstown United Methodist Church Day School
2&3 Year old Classroom
Our purpose, at Bakerstown UMC Day School, is to partner with parents in providing education and nurture for their children that is high quality, distinctive, and developmentally appropriate; in a way that reflects the love of God and respects the educational and social needs of each child.
Our day school has aligned our curriculum with the local school districts for a smooth transition from preschool to Kindergarten. Our curriculum is specifically designed for pre-K students, that is comprehensive in addressing the child’s developmental needs (self-esteem, cognitive, creative, social, physical) within the context of Christian faith and values. We are blessed to have Bakerstown UMC’s Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Rachel Whipple visiting our classrooms weekly with a dynamic, interactive, faith based educational curriculum that she has written.
We still have some spots open for this year. We are busy giving tours and meeting lots of new faces. If you would like to find out more about the preschool, please stop by. We are now accepting registrations for the 2019/2020 school year. For more information call Kelly Campbell, the day school director at (724) 272-6032.
