#1 – DiGGing Deeper (Wesley Room)  Beginning March 8th at 10:00am, DIGGing Deeper’s Lenten Study is the book “The Daniel Dilemma: How to Stand Firm and Love Well in a Culture of Compromise” by New York Times best selling author Chris Hodges.  Christians today wrestle with their stance on contemporary issues including politics, gender identity, and marriage. How can we love those with significantly different attitudes and lifestyles without compromising our beliefs? Exploring the Book of Daniel for timely answers, Hodges reveals how to keep God's standards high and his grace deep---just as Daniel and Jesus did.  You are invited to join us as we meet Sunday morning. 

#2 - Women at the Well Discussion Class (LibraryWe are starting a NEW Lenten discussion series in March, “Jesus’ Final Words on Earth”. Women at the Well is a very informal women’s discussion group, meeting in the Library, 10:00am to 10:50am on Sunday mornings.   Bring your coffee or tea and drop in any time for some fun, fellowship, and good discussion.  Any and all women are invited to attend.   We hope to see you there!

This fun group meets for food, fun and fellowship! Anyone interested in joining this group, bring a pot luck dish to share and a big appetite. We will be playing games and just having a great time. This group is open to anyone in the congregation or community.

If you or someone you know is experiencing the loss of a loved one, we encourage you to please accept this as your personal invitation to join with us. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences so that you don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare is a highly recommended nationally known program of bereavement support groups that meet weekly and are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. Our GriefShare program is led by Rev. Bill and Cathy Dambach, Marcia Shipley, Marge Kirkpatrick, and Janet Pagniello.


GriefShare is a drop-in anytime group and open to anyone in the church or community.  All are welcome.


Men's Bible Study/Fellowship| Feb. 24| 6:30-8:00pm | Fellowship Hall

All Men (and boys) of BUMC are welcome to attend the Grub-n-Stuff dinner and Bible Study. 

No homework or studying needed. Just bring your appetite, a dish to share (if able), and plan to join in whatever we choose to discuss that night.

This group meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month.  Dinner starts at 6:30 and we will have you out the door at 8:00 pm. For Feb. we are meeting the 1st and 4th Monday's.

NEW study for Lent:  “Determined:  Living Like Jesus in Every Moment” by Heather Dixon.  In this 6 week study of the Gospel of Luke, we will follow the life and ministry of Jesus on His way to the cross.  We will intimately connect with a Savior who remained laser-focused on His mission to love the world.  In return, we will receive a model of discipleship, a model of intentional living to ensure we are living each day to the fullest and making a difference for God’s Kingdom. Come along and join us as we follow the footsteps of our Savior.  Workbooks are $14.00.

Women's Bible Study

The Jeremiah study will be a verse by verse look at this book of the Bible.

Jeremiah Bible Study

The Young Adult Group (ages 18-30ish) meets once a month and engages in various activities based on group consensus. Activities typically include biblical/devotional discussions, short bible studies, and local mission/outreach activities, but new suggestions are always welcome. Also, non-BUMC members are welcome.
