Meet the Pastors
Pastor Keith A. Dunn
Rev. Keith A. Dunn became Senior Pastor of Bakerstown UMC in July of 2018. Pastor Keith grew up near Canonsburg, PA. He is a graduated of Canon McMillan High School, Robert Morris University and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He has over thirty years of ministry experience serving United Methodist churches in Beaver, Butler, Allegheny and Cambria counties of the Western PA Conference.
Pastor Keith is married to Rev. Alyce Weaver Dunn, Director of Connectional Ministries for the Western Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church. They are avid fans of Pittsburgh’s sports teams.
Pastor Matthew Scott
Matthew Scott was born and raised in Ebensburg, where he graduated from Cambria Heights High School in 2011. He then went to Basic Training followed by the Army School of Music, where he completed his training in December of 2011. He still serves in the PA National Guard band where he just hit his 9-year anniversary. Matt then graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in music. While attending college, he was called to serve God by leading worship and mission teams through the local church. He is about a year away from graduation from United Theological Seminary and is anxious to begin working full-time in the church, serving to connect the church and world together.
Matt married his high school sweetheart Alyssa in 2017. They enjoy spending time together and with their three dogs. Matt likes to be outdoors and connects to God through nature. He likes to kayak, canoe, fish and hunt. He also enjoys playing and teaching guitar.
